Yana: Travel Guide

"Yana" is situated in Sahyadri hills of the Western Ghats in the district of Uttara Kannada, Karnataka. It is a place which is preferred by most of the Kannada movie directors for scenic shots for their films.

Distance From Bangalore: Approximately 450 kms.

What's Special: Two huge rocks, a small water fall and of course the entire forest. The two huge rocks made of black crystalline limestone are named as Bhairaveshwara peak and Mohini peak. These peaks are beautiful piece of nature and are never to be missed. Yana is mostly famous for trekking, sight seeing and other activities.

Mode of Transport: Bus, train and any private mode of transport by road.
