"Talakadu" is a very scenic place situated on the banks of the river Cauvery. This place is completely filled with sand and water. There are lot of temples which are buried in the sand. It is considered as one of the heritage places in karnataka.

Distance From Bengaluru: Approximately 132 kms.

What's Special: The legend associated with this place is super natural. It is said the place Talakadu was burried in sand because of a curse given by a women who did not like the king Raja Wodeyar soo much. Talakadu is also a very great place for bird watching and swimming in the river Cauvery.
