Chamundi Hills

Chamundi Hills is one of the most famous mountains in the state of Karnataka, India. It is situated in the district of Mysuru.

Distance From Bengaluru: Approximately 150 kms.
What's Special: A very scenic and holy mountain in the district of Mysuru, Karnataka. The height of the mountain is 3400 ft. On the top of the mountain is the Chamundeshwari temple and the statue of the Mahishasura demon. On the way to the top of the mountain is the statue of Nandi.
Mode of Transport: Buses and any private mode of transport by road.
Near By Places: Mysore Palace, Mysore, Brindavan Gardens, Krishna Raja Sagara Dam (KRS), Madikeri, Srirangapatna, Wayanad, Mysore Exhibition, Tonnuru Kere, Cauvery River , Ranganthittu Bird Sanctuary etc...
