Nagarhole National Park

"Nagarhole National Park" is a tiger reserve park in the Kodagu and Mysuru district, Karnataka. Distance From Bengaluru: Approximately 220 kms.
What's Special: As mentioned earlier it's a tiger reserve and also an adventurous place for trekking. There are also some wonderful safari rides available and you can see elephants in the wild very closely. Nagarhole National park is truly one of the best tourist places near Bengaluru (Bangalore).
Mode of Transport: Buses and any private mode of transport by road.

Madikeri

"Madikeri" is a hill station situated in the district of Kodagu, Karnataka. It is also sometimes termed as the "Scotland of India". Kodagu is also known as Coorg. It was founded in the year 1681 by Muddu Raja who was the prince of the Haleri dynasty. 

Distance From Bangalore: Approximately 252 Kms.
What's Special: Hills full of mist, lush green forests, lots of tea and coffee plantations.
Madikeri is a dream place for trekkers.
Mode of Transport: Bus, train and any private mode of transport by road.
Near By Places: Raja's seat, Abbi falls, Talacauvery, Nisargadhama, Harangi Dam, Madikeri Fort, Raja's Tomb, Omkeshwara Temple, etc...
